Attached is a video recorded on the 2nd of October 2019 at the Cardiff University School of Mathematics. It was a presentation delivered by me to commence our weekly PhD talks at the School of Mathematics and also, welcoming our first year PhD students after successful induction a day before. It basically gives a more general overview or summary to most regression analyses; which are important tools across several academic disciplines. It was relatively simplified to also make non-statisticians and modellers to have deeper understanding of how several regression-type models came into existence; by focusing on both parametric and non-parametric regression frameworks. It is 30 minutes long; but extremely informative. Enjoy it!!! (No slides was used, but strictly presented on a chalk board ).
