8th Heidelberg Laureate Forum in Germany

Congratulations Clement!

We are pleased to inform you that Clement, a former recipient of the Best Graduate Student Research Award in Mathematics (2018) in Ghana, currently doing his PhD in Cardiff University School of Mathematics (UK), has been selected among the 200 coveted spots worldwide to participate in the 8th Heidelberg Laureate Forum in Germany. This prestigious event was expected to take place from September 20 to 25, 2020, but has now been scheduled for September 19–24, 2021 due to rapid spread of COVID-19. The Heidelberg Laureate Forum rises to the challenge of mathematical and computational research in all situations and aspects of our daily lives, by bringing together the most exceptional mathematicians and computer scientists of their generations.

Each year, in the last complete week of September, the recipients of the most prestigious awards in mathematics and computer science, the Abel Prize, ACM A.M. Turing Award, ACM Prize in Computing, Fields Medal and Nevanlinna Prize, meet the 200 selected young researchers from all over the world. Participants spend a week interacting and networking in a relaxed atmosphere designed to encourage scientific exchange.
